A4's rule and A'3's Drool
I had an appointment in a non profit today, they had an old Minolta Dialta system that was about 40ppm, Duplexer, Autofeeder and a few paper trays.
I made sure to bring up the A4 vs A3 questions a few weeks ago when I first went it. Today was proposal day and time to meet with the Executive Director. They were extremly pleased with the pricing, very accetable to the fact that they do not need to print, copy or scan 11x17.
Thus, the end result is that we offered a (Muratec) faster system at a lower price while maintaining GP and selling around MSRP, while everyone else RBS, OCE and KonicaMinolta had to quote A3's.
Strange, but not once did the name on the box come into the equation, we spoke about maintenance, volume, 11x17, duplexing along with the benefits of network scanning!
